Lilo and Stitch Cosplay 2016
Today I decided I want to share my easy way of making a Lilo Cosplay.
First of all you need:
1m on 1.5m red fabric (cotton)
white fabric paint OR Vlieseline
red sewing thread
scissors (when you don't use fabric paint)
iron (when you don't use fabric paint)
sewingmachine or needle
old wide t-shirt
Total cost for me was like 15euro
Took me 1hour to make :D

STEP 1:
Fold fabric in two, put the wide t-shirt on it and draw around it to make a pattern. With the difference that you make it long enough to touch your feet.
Cut it out

STEP 2:
Sew everything together with the good sides on top of eachother.
With everything I mean everything except the armholes, neckline and the bottom part.

STEP 3:
Hem the armholes, neckline and bottom, so it doesnt ruffle.
STEP 4:
Pull it inside out so the goodsides are on the outside

STEP 5:
Make a sjabloon for painting or one to draw on Vlieseline, depends on your choice.
Vlieseline (Don't know what it is in English, but it is used for making jackets and collars and stuff stronger. Thanks to a friend I used it to put the leaves on the dress in an easy non-messy painting way, you just iron it on and done :D)

Iron on the vlieseline
Don't forget to do the back of the dress ;)
If you don't know what vlieseline is or don't like it, just paint it with white fabric paint after you made a sjabloon (to make the painting easier), after the paint is dried on one side, you do the other side. Don't forget to put something in between the layers of fabric so the paint doesn't go through the other side of the dress.
